All Malaysian Bloggers Project (AMBP) Gathering

I attended a gathering of bloggers this afternoon jointly organised by The Star Online's AMBP, Cinema Online and Microsoft Malaysia. It was held at Cineleisure's Outpost Cafe (The Curve) and I was invited by Orchid (http://www.k-popped.com/) . The event kicked off with short sharing sessions by Aizuddin (Project Petaling Street), Kimberlycun (prominent lifestyle blogger), Peter Tan (disability advocate blogger), Chin Vin Sen (Cinema Online) and Rohan Thomas (Microsoft). OK, done with all the talkings...lunch was served. Spaghetti was ok, coffee was bad and I especially loved the nuggets (I took 8 pieces...keke).
-
Lunch fellowship was a very relaxing one with good company from Orchid and her sis, Liz. Also bumped into Andrew (friends of Babyboss photographer Carpet Brian) and Inayah (formerly from Jiggee Events). By 3pm, the highlight of the afternoon came...movie time!!! The whole group was ushered to the cinema next door to watch "The Incredible Hulk", courtesy of Cinema Online! Awesome movie, highly recommended!!! Action packed!!!

Micky Yoochun's Birthday Party @ Sayang DBSK

I was invited again to another TVXQ's Micky Yoochun's birthday party event last Saturday. This time, organised by local TVXQ fanclub, Sayang DBSK, the event was attended by some 90+ girls and 4 guys, including me. It was held at the Saloma Bistro along Jalan Ampang, KL. I arrived there at 2pm sharp and the hall was already filled with their guests and was immediately ushered to the VIP table together with two other guys from the Korean Press.

Sayang DBSK's president, Azira, approached and greeted me and asked me if I could share a word or two about the boys (TVXQ). And I agreed. And so the event started with a welcome message from Azira, followed by me. I think I made many of them envy me when I said I was moving around with them when they came. Haha... Overall the event was awesome, everyone had fun especially when they danced and sang along when the TVXQ video was played.

Anyway, here are some pics courtesy of Sayang DBSK and some from the members' personal cameras.

My New Sony Ericsson K810i

It was very unfortunate that I accidentally dropped my phone into a basin filled with running water when I was washing my hands at home. Picked it up immediately, offed it and dried the phone immediately. Everything was ok until I sent the phone for charging...it won't charge!!! Apparently, the circuit board spoilt. Immediately, went to Low Yat to have the phone checked. Diagnosis...beyond repair (I mean can repair but the repair cost is too high)!!!

So, I had no choice but to get a new phone. keke... And I bought myself a new Sony Ericsson K810i.

Lunch At Jogoya!

I was privileged to be invited by Felicia Soo and Ee Yin to a really cool Japanese buffet lunch at Jogoya Japanese Restaurant, Starhill. We were given a time slot of 1:40pm to 4:20pm to eat and I was like "what???". Apparently, guests are admitted into the restaurant in blocks on time. And it ain't cheap considering the fact that it cost some RM78++ per head!!!
-
We were ushered to Table 011. Everything was self-service and truly "eat all you can"....from the various selections of raw fish and seafood to fried tempura and unagi and many more. Eight different types of tea, complete range of soft drinks, including various coffee (cappuccino, latte, etc). Simply great food, great atmosphere, good service. Highly recommended.

Here are some pics taken by my Sony Ericsson S500i and Felicia's Olympus µ750.

New Petrol Price

It is now some 24hrs after the announcement of the new petrol tariff of RM2.70 per litre. As expected, the mad rush was last nite. At every petrol I drove past, I had to endure a massive jam because hordes of cars were queueing up wanting to have their tanks filled up before the new price kicks in at 12 midnight.

I was a little smarter. Somehow, my car was at "E" and I desperately needed to refuel. That I did and made a full tank since I was there at the petrol station. That was 3:15pm. At 5pm, I received the SMS about the new price hike. For a moment, I felt "smart".
But this full tank, will only last me a week of so, what should I do after this week? Yes, I will go buy a bicycle!!! Here are some choices...

Comes with a front basket for my laptop and camera bag. Carries an extra passenger too!

A more basic model with rear basket for my laptop and stuffs. Comes with front "fog lamp".

This one...the more sporty one!

Colour Vibration Therapy

I had the privilege to meet a very special "doctor" over tea on Monday. We were discussing some investment programmes and she introduced herself as a CVT Practitioner (Colour Vibration Therapy). How interesting!
-
Colour Vibration Therapy is simple. It utilizes colour and it’s vibration to heal. The eyes convert light (colour) into a kind of energy, which travels through our nervous system and affects all body functions. These Vibration can also be transferred into our body thru’ our skin as a receptor. Studies have shown that when colour vibration is introduced to the human system it causes cellular and hormonal changes. This can bring the cell into synchronization or balance. After entering our eyes, the colour vibration is directed to the hypothalamus gland. It then goes to the pineal glands which direct it to the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland regulates hormones production. The brain processes this information, which causes the cellular and hormonal changes to occur.
-
Apparently, this CVT thingy is recognised by UNESCO, WHO and the United Nations!!! For details, please visit http://www.cvtherapy.com.my/eng/index_english.htm
-
She told me that my colour is green and that I am of the water element. And if an organ is to fail me, it would be my kidneys. So, I have to take good care of my kidneys! She also explained that there are specific colours for specific days. Here is a rundown for the week :
Monday is White
Tuesday is Pink (I wore a pink shirt today)
Wednesday is Blue
Thursday is Yellow or Orange
Friday is Green
Saturday is Red
Sunday is Black
